Valle de Guadalupe Style Guide

I’ve put together a few different desert chic options that I think will look perfect in the surroundings of Valle de Guadalupe.

Look 1: Floral dress, combat boots, and fedora

If you want to wear your combat boots for this outing, I definitely recommend wearing a floral, flirty dress with them to make it look more feminine. Here are some good options I found that are more fall florals and I think would pair well with combat boots. I also stuck to warmer color palettes that I think will look nice with the desert, rustic, vineyard vibe. Your fedora will also look cute with this outfit!

Floral Dress

Leather/Suede Jacket

If it’s cooler out, throw on a cute leather/suede jacket over it to complete the look.

It also looks like it might rain, so probably bring an umbrella or raincoat too. A waterproof trench coat might look good with some of these looks. But I usually just go with an umbrella so I can still wear the rest of my outfit per the style I want.

Look 2: White dress with combat boots and fedora or western booties and fedora or boater

I think a lace dress will look so pretty in these surroundings. It’s super desert chic, especially when paired with western touches, like booties and a western style hat. Or you can still wear your combat boots with this look and it would just be a bit of a tougher look. Complete the look with a leather or jean jacket.

Look 3: Kimono and black romper (or tee and jean shorts) with western booties and hat

If you go with a white lace kimono, I think it will look super chic paired with a black romper and western booties, hat, & jewelry. If you go with a patterned kimono, you could just pair it with jean shorts and a plain black or white v or scoop neck tee (something that plunges a little – not a crew neck). You could probably do the romper with the combat boots, but not the jean shorts look, as I think it would be too tough looking.

For jewelry, I was thinking something along these lines

Look 3.2 Patterned Kimono with jean shorts, v or scoop neck plain tee and western accents

Patterned Kimono

Jean Shorts

I didn’t look for a plain tee as I figured you have something that will work.

Again, for this look, go with western booties, as I think the combat boots might look too tough with the destroyed jean shorts.

Look 4: Feminine blouse with jean shorts and western booties or combat boots and western hat.

I think I like this look best with western booties, but for some of the longer blouses/caftans, you can probably wear the combat boots. Definitely pair this outfit with your fedora or other wide brim hat!

Feminine Blouse

Jean Shorts

You could also pair this look (and many of the others) with of-the-moment high western boots. But up to you if you think you’d wear these elsewhere and want to invest in them. Otherwise I think the regular western bootie or combat boot work well with most of the outfits.

Let me know if you have any questions! Hope you like some of these options! Looks like an awesome place and I’m excited to see your pics!
